Seminar Series

The Academy for Training and Education runs a series of seminars at which academics and trainees at all levels share best practice and experiences. Topics so far have included:

• Fellowship schemes and grant writing
• Intermediate fellowships: How to get to the next stage
• Fellowship: An interview masterclass

Academic Breakfast Meetings

The Academy also runs a monthly breakfast meeting in conjunction with the Foundation Academic Lead of Central Manchester University Hospitals.

At the meetings, trainees have the chance to present their research, learn about broader areas of work and interact with their peers.
